For which temperature can I use the Joolz footmuffs?
We have tested all our footmuffs for TOG (which stands for Thermal Overall Grade), a value that represents its insulation quality. It gives you an insight into your child’s thermal regulation. The higher the TOG, the warmer the footmuff. TOG is tested in a controlled surrounding that reflects a home environment with a constant temperature. This does not take any weather conditions into consideration like rain or wind. Besides, it does not consider your own perception of warmth or cold. For footmuffs, TOG results are meant as a guideline. Based on these results, we have created a temperature recommendation that differentiate our footmuffs in different types of winter. We always recommend to dress you child to actual weather conditions and their own needs. To check if your baby is too hot or too cold, you can feel their neck.
